Company History
Finished Edge Technology—based in Arizona and established in 2020—was built on the shoulders of our founder, who was a flooring installer. Growing up in the flooring business, he spent tireless weekends installing carpets alongside his father—who later designed a carpet tool in the 1990s that is still sold worldwide. Over time, our founder started installing different types of flooring after being taught by some of the greatest craftsmen in the industry.

Following in his father’s footsteps, the founder of Finished Edge Technology also believed there were better techniques, methods, and processes available to improve the efficiency and quality of flooring installation. So he built on their family legacy with a new, groundbreaking design technology that would forever change the stair-nose industry.
The Reason Behind Our Innovation
Traditional methods for installing hard-surface flooring on stairs were fundamentally flawed. The most common problems were cutting off the tread nosing and boxing the steps.
After hearing clients express dissatisfaction with the results, our founder was inspired to improve the flooring and stair-nosing installation process. Through extensive research, testing, and ongoing improvements, our founder developed a solution to address the problems associated with stair nosing: Finished Edge Technology.
Finished Edge Technology was born from the need for a more streamlined, simplified product and installation method that would be the best solution for all stair types. We pride ourselves on quality and innovation and are confident that we play a major role in setting higher industry standards.
